IN THE MOMENT   INTENSIVE

In this four week course we study the

"In The Moment" acting technique, including everything from analyzing & breaking down texts, to practicing the ability of getting and staying present through the performance of monologues and scenes. The work culminates in a final showcase performance on February 11th. See footage from previous ITM intensives on the In The Moment youtube channel here.

YOUNG ACTORS WORKSHOP [NOW REGISTERING]

4 Weeks / Saturdays / 11AM-12:30PM / Jan 16th - Feb 6th / Ages 9-15 / $250

The newest four week workshop from ITM, specifically designed for young actors, which will culminate in a final showcase performance on February 6th. Open to ALL LEVEL actors, this course makes clear the difference between superficial and automatic behavior responses and shows young actors how to find the wisdom in the moment, helping them make better choices. Learning the art of acting is a fun way to open up the right instincts and actions, as well as to help illuminate the way to the right acting in life. As we say in In The Moment : as in life, so in art.

In this course our young actors will learn:
  • The Art of Performing, the confidence and size it brings, as well as the fun and exhilaration of acting out a role.
  • The technique of BEING and SEEING which brings spontaneity and brilliance.
  • How we act and react coming from a deeper source and the vocabulary to clearly define the different sources.
  • A more divine realization that we are not our feelings, we are who is watching ourselves have them.
